PU Foam: Expanding polyurethane foam filler is widely used on any building site in the world primarily to seal against air and water leakage and to avoid insulation leaks in respect of sound as well as heat. The product cures quickly which facilitates a stable environment for later trades without time delay and can be cut, sanded, sealed and painted over easily with standard sealants and paints. Always use the can upside down. Can be stored on the RapidGun applicator for up to 5 days. Waterproof/ Submersible PU Foam is ideal for filling holes below ground level in concrete casting works, pools, ponds and water reservoirs and will not get waterlogged even when permanently submerged.

RASIKY WATERPROOF PU FOAM is a one component, moisture curing, special purpose polyurethane foam sealant specifically formulated black in colour.
Ideally suited for areas where product sustains prolonged submersion as well as where appearance could be a factor such as landscaping, pond and waterfall design or vehicle undercarriages.

Application Instructions

• Shake the aerosol can for at least 40 seconds;
• Clean and moisten surfaces with a water sprayer prior to application;
• Fit the gun onto the adaptor.
• Firmly screw the can on the adapter(2-finger tight) and turn the flow adjustment screw; Fill the holes and cavities.
• Bottom up during application; Foam will be tack-free in about 5 minutes; Excess can be trimmed in under one hour;
• Fresh foam can be removed by using RASIKY RapidCleaner or acetone. Cured foam can only be removed mechanically

Safety Reccomendations

• Do not breathe spray/vapor; In case of eye contact, flush with water and get immediate medical attention.
• Use in well-ventilated areas;
• Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and goggles;
• Keep away from direct sunlight and do not expose to temperatures over 50°C ;
• Do not burn or pierce even after use;
• Keep away from heat, sparks, flames and static electricity; Turn off sources of ignition (pilot light etc.); Keep out of reach of children.

Shelf Life, Storage and Handling

36 months in unopened packaging
Store at a temperature between 5°C to 25°C , Keep in cool, shaded and well ventilated area. Always keep the can with the valve pointed upwards

ATTENTION! Cured PU foam must be protected from UV radiation by painting or applying a top layer of sealant, plaster, mortar, or other type of covering. Adhesion of the product is weak on polyethylene,Teflon® and some other plastic surfaces.
